Important Notice

During testing, these XPON ONUs were found not ideal for standard PPPoE fiber deployment, especially where LOS and PON power behavior affects normal fiber use.

However, further testing confirmed they can work well in hotspot environments where the device is used mainly as a switch or bridge.

How It Works

Disable DHCP on the ONU, then use one Ethernet port as the uplink and the other LAN ports as downlink ports. The SSID can be left open so clients connect and are redirected to your hotspot billing system, MikroTik hotspot, or RADIUS server.
